More about Mark Dippel

Mark is pretty vocal about his support of the Oregon State University Beavers. Just in case he hasn't mentioned why, it's because he played football at Oregon State University at the end of the Giant-Killer years.

The years 1967-1970 found Mark at defensive guard (#61) on a legendary team that Coach Dee Andros extolled as a bunch of guys that had, "incredible heart."

Mark's closest friends today are still those guys with "heart" from his years at OSU.

Until the Beavers' 6-5 season in 1999, Mark played on the last Beaver football team with a winning record.

Doesn't Mark look like a happy Beaver Fan in the glow of the fireworks at the 2001 Fiesta Bowl?

With a score of 41-9 over Notre Dame, how could he not be?

Mark and his wife, Judy, celebrated their 31st wedding anniversary in March of 2001. And he was pretty excited about the birth of his first granddaughter, Olivia Anne, in January of this year.
