Value Plus

Value + studs are Seneca’s typical quality manufacturing and appearance. They are the product of our new small log processor, which allows us to produce usable lumber from the portion of the logs that, because of size, were previously chipped.

Seneca has a new product that gives the builder a Seneca-quality, small-log stud with a nailable edge sought by framers and sheet-rockers. Value + lumber is perfect for price-sensitive projects.

At Seneca we have always been proud of the fact that we use every part of the log. We still use the whole log, but we are able to make more lumber and less chips because of our newest mill. Currently, we are averaging 5,500+ blocks a day through the small log processor.
