History
Since 1953, Seneca Sawmill Company has represented the leading edge
in technology and innovation. The long-standing success of Seneca
Sawmill can be attributed to two very important components: advanced
technology operating hand-in-hand with Seneca Jones Timber Company to meet our
nation's demand for lumber. We believe our attitude
toward sustainable management of our resources has not only led to our survival, but will
continue to make us industry leaders in the years to come.

In 1954, Seneca Sawmill Company employed 25 people, and produced
18 million board
feet of lumber. |

In the year 2001, Seneca employed approximately 375 people, and yearly production
exceeded 350 million board feet. |

group photo as a surprise for Aaron. |
